International Management Institute, Delhi (IMI Delhi), India's first
corporate-sponsored business school, was established in New Delhi in 1981. Its
corporate sponsors include RPG Enterprises (main sponsor), ITC, Nestle, Tata
Chemicals, British Oxygen, SAIL and Williamson Magor. The school was founded in
partnership with IMD Lausanne, formerly known as IMI Geneva.
Over time, IMI has continuously expanded its reach to support ambitious individuals in developing a strong foundation for a successful career in management practice, consulting and entrepreneurship. IMI Kolkata was established in 2010, followed by IMI Bhubaneswar in 2011. Additionally, IMI has established valuable relationships with renowned educational institutions in Europe, North America and Asia.
IMI New Delhi is a private management institute, ranked 34th among the top management institutes of India by NIRF 2023. IMI New Delhi is accredited by NBA, AMBA, AACSB and SAQS. Additionally, IMI Delhi has approved l from AIU and AICTE. The institute currently offers PGDM, PGDM (HRM), PGDM (B&FS), 18-month PGDM (Executive), and FPM (Doctoral Programme).
IMI has more than 7000 alumni. During the IMI Delhi placements, over 100 companies, including over 40 first-time recruiters, were part of the 2023 placements. The average package of IMI Delhi was Rs 17.01 LPA.
