Symbiosis Center for Management and Human Resource Development Pune (SCMHRD)was established in 1993 and is a constituent college. Symbiosis Center for Management and Human Resource Development Pune is a constituent college of Symbiosis International University (Deemed University). The institution is privately owned and follows a co-educational system, providing education to students of both genders.

The vision of the college is to promote international understanding through quality education. The campus size of SCMHRD Pune is 5 acres and the total number of faculty members is 90. The total number of student enrollment is more than 700.

The institute has successfully completed the final placements for MBA batch 2021-23. The highest international and highest domestic package during Placement 2023 was Rs 67.60 LPA and Rs 35.02 LPA respectively. The average package offered during SCMHRD MBA Placement 2023 was 23.71 LPA.

Moreover, more than 112 recruiters including 38 new recruiters participated in Placement 2023. BFSI sector emerged as the top sector with 22% placement rate during placements 2023.
