Jai Narain Vyas University

Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), formerly known as the University of Jodhpur, is one of the prestigious educational university in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. JNVU was established in 1962 and is a government university. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a B++ grade.

Jai Narain Vyas University and its affiliated colleges offer more than 40 postgraduate (PG) programmes, 30 undergraduate (UG) programmes, and 5 Diploma and Certificate courses. The university provides high-quality education in 27 departments. JNVU is known for its excellent faculty of engineering and architecture as well as its programs in commerce and management, science, law, and arts.

JNVU Jodhpur has authority over four colleges: Jaswant College, which focuses on commerce; Siri Maharaj Kumar College, which is dedicated to law; Mugniram Bangur Memorial Engineering College, which specializes in engineering; and Kamala Nehru Girls' College.
