BITS Pilani stands as a prestigious engineering institute in India. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (also known as BITS Pilani) is a deemed university. BITS Pilani was established in 1964 and BITS is a higher education and research university. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is renowned for its engineering, sciences, management, and humanities programs.

BITS Pilani offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines including Engineering, Sciences, Pharmacy, Management, and Humanities. The institute also has 9 different centers for Software Development, Robotics, Women's Studies and Desert Development Technologies. BITSAT (BITS Entrance Test), an all India computerized entrance test, is administered by BITS.
