The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and
Technology (CIPET) is an autonomous institute
under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. It was established in 1968 with the objective
of providing manpower training, technology support, and research facilities in
the field of petrochemicals and allied industries.
