Christ University, a privately owned university, is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Established as Christ College in 1969, it was declared a deemed-to-be university by the UGC in 2008 and accredited by the NAAC with an 'A+' grade and NBA. Christ University Bangalore is ranked 13th by NIRF 2023 under Law category, 60th by NIRF 2023 under Management category, 101-150 by NIRF 2023 under Engineering category, and others. This deemed university has been ranked 258th in the QS Asian University Rankings 2024 and 801+ in the QS Asian University Rankings 2024 under the Southern Asia category.

Through nine schools of study, Christ University offers UG, PG, Doctoral and various other courses to the students. These courses are offered in management, law, science and various other streams. Christ Bangalore is a member of UNAI and some of the courses offered by the Deemed-to-be University are approved by AICTE, BCI and NCTE.

Christ University is famous for its flagship programs like MBA, B.Tech and Law courses. Eminent personalities like the Dalai Lama, Sudha Murthy and others are notable visitors to the complex. This deemed university has more than 520 international students and more than 40 academic departments. The university also arranges management development programs on HR analytics and various other conferences and seminars for the students.

The Bengaluru Central Campus of Christ (Deemed-to-be) University is located in Hosur (Bengaluru) and the other two Bengaluru campuses – Bannerghatta and Kengari campus are located at a distance of 25 kilometers and 35 kilometers respectively from the main campus.
