IMS BHU

The Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS BHU) is one of the six institutes of Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India and consists of three faculties, Faculty of Medicine, Dental Sciences and Ayurveda. The medical school of the university is known as the Institute of Medical Sciences. IMS BHU (Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University) is located within the Banaras Hindu University campus in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

IMS BHU: Admission Procedure

1. MBBS: Admissions to the MBBS program, BDS and BAMS program are typically based on NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) national-level entrance exam Score.

2. MD/MS, DM/M.Ch: Admission to postgraduate and super specialty courses is usually based on national-level entrance exams like NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) for MD/MS courses and NEET SS for DM/M.Ch courses. Candidates need to apply online and participate in the counseling process conducted by the authorities.

International Students:

IMS BHU may also admit international students to various courses, but the admission process for them may differ. International students typically need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria and may need to undergo an equivalence evaluation of their qualifications.

Research Programs:

IMS BHU also offers research programs leading to Ph.D. degrees in various medical disciplines. The admission procedure for Ph.D. programs usually involves an entrance exam followed by an interview.
