National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) is
a premier technical institution located in Rourkela, Odisha, India. It was
established in 1961 as the Regional Engineering College (REC) Rourkela and was
granted National Institute of Technology status in 2002, thus becoming NIT
Rourkela.
