IIM Udaipur is one of the newer IIMs, and was established in 2011 by the Government of India. The institute is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS. Additionally, the institute has also been included in the prestigious Masters in Management (MIM) QS World University Rankings 2023 for the third consecutive year. IIM Udaipur has been ranked 16th in the NIRF Ranking 2023 in the management category.

Additionally, IIM Udaipur has been ranked 81st in the FT Masters in Management 2022 global rankings for two-year MBA programmes. Additionally, IIM Udaipur has membership of the Global Business Schools Network (GBSN).

IIM Udaipur offers various degree, diploma, certificate and fellowship programmes. Some of the courses include MBA, PG Diploma, Digital Product Management (DPM), Senior Management Program (SMP), Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MNGF), and PhD in Management. IIM Udaipur is known for its flagship MBA programme, which offers admission through CAT, followed by a personal interview through CAP. The IIM Udaipur cut-off for the personal interview round is around 92 percentile (overall).
