Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam

In September 2015, the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam(IIM Visakhapatnam ) was founded with the support of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. As the newest member in the IIM family, IIM Visakhapatnam is currently being mentored by IIM Bangalore. In the NIRF Rankings 2023, IIM Visakhapatnam achieved an impressive 29th rank in the management category.

IIM Visakhapatnam provides a range of postgraduate and doctoral programs, including PGP, PGPEx, PGPDGM, EMBA, PhD, and MGNF. The flagship program offered by IIM Visakhapatnam is the PGP course.

Additionally, IIM Visakhapatnam offers a unique MBA program in Digital Governance & Management, which is the first of its kind in the country. This program is delivered in a blended learning mode and is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Government of India. Scholarships are also provided by the institute to students who deserve financial assistance.

Admission into the MBA program at IIM Visakhapatnam is based on CAT score and a subsequent personal interview. To secure admission into IIM Visakhapatnam, candidates must achieve an overall CAT percentile of 80 and a sectional percentile of 70. The final selection process takes into account various factors such as academic qualifications, work experience, and gender diversity.

The placement process for the year 2023 at IIM Visakhapatnam has been successfully concluded. The highest package offered to a student was 32.65 LPA, while the average package for the batch was 16.61 LPA.
