Indian Institute of Management Amritsar

Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar), was established in the year 2015 by the Ministry of Education (earlier known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development). IIM Amritsar, also known as Baby IIM, is one of the newly established IIMs. It offers postgraduate and doctoral programs in the field of management.

In the NIRF ranking 2023, IIM Amritsar secured the 51st position in the management category. Admission to its courses is based on national or state-level entrance exams. The institute is renowned for its flagship 2-year MBA program, which admits students through CAT. Candidates with a CAT percentile score of approximately 85 or more are eligible for admission process.

Additionally, IIM Amritsar offers scholarships to deserving and talented students. The MBA fee for the 2-year program is INR 16 lakh, and the average package for the 2023 batch was INR 16.51 LPA. In the IIM Amritsar Placements 2023, a total of 261 students from the batch were lucky to secure internships with 101 prestigious companies.
