Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur: Established in 2015 by the Indian Government, Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) is one of the newer IIMs. As per the NIRF ranking 2023, it has ranked 58th position among the top Management institutes in India. The institute offers a range of programs including MBA, Executive MBA, PhD, and Executive PhD programs.

IIM Sambalpur is renowned for its two-year flagship MBA program, and the admission process is conducted through CAP in along with eight other baby IIMs. Nevertheless, for the PGP admission of IIM Sambalpur in 2024, the minimum qualifying cutoff for General category students is set at 92 percentile.
