The National Insurance Academy Pune is one of the premier
institutions dedicated to raising talent for the insurance industry. The
institution was established in 1980, as a joint venture with the Ministry of Finance, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC of India), General Insurance
Corporation of India (GIC of India), The New India Assurance Company, National
Insurance Company, United India Insurance Company and the Oriental Insurance
Company on 16th December 1980 in Mumbai. Later, the institute was relocated to
Pune on 4th June 1990.
The National Insurance Academy, Pune, has been recognised by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation).
