The Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE) was established in 1964 under the aegis of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) by the Ministry of Education and Government of India. IPE College is one of 500 colleges worldwide to be granted Affiliate Member status by the Brussels-based European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
