KIIT School of Law is a private law school established in
2007 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The school is officially affiliated with Kalinga
Institute of Industrial Technology, approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI)
and accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade. KIIT School of Law is ranked 12th for
Law by NIRF 2020 and 22nd for Law by India Today 2020. It is the first law
school in the country to implement BCI approved curriculum. KIIT School of Law
is in collaboration with the International Association of Law Schools, Washington,
USA and the Asia-Pacific Association of Law Schools, Australia.
KIIT School of Law is the first law school to offer Bachelor
of Laws programs in six specializations including Crime and Criminology Law,
Intellectual Property Law, Business Law, Constitutional Law, Taxation Law,
International Law, etc. The school has a Memorandum of Understanding with
Northumbria University, Miami University, and Dong-A University for academic
collaboration and joint activities.
The campus of the college is spread over an area of 29 acres, which has all the necessary facilities for the students like library, cafeteria, hostel, sports complex, gym, auditorium and a moot court for law students. The academic programs offered by this school have the approval of BCI and are accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade.
It is also running integrated BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, BSc-LLB, LLM at PG level and a course at UG level. PhD. Program in the field of law. It is the only law school in India to offer special Honors courses. KIIT School of Law, Bhubaneswar accepts admission on the basis of qualifying examination and entrance examination. KIIT School of Law also offers scholarships and placement opportunities to students.
