Lovely Professional University

Established in 2005 in Jalandhar, Punjab, Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a privately owned educational institution. LPU is approved by UGC, NCTE, PCI, COA, BCI, PSCAE, ITPI and other leading organizations. The university is accredited by NAAC with A++ grade, ACBSP and ICAR and has membership of AIU, IAU, IIE, ACU-UK and The Institution of Engineers (India). LPU has been ranked 38th in the NIRF Rankings 2023 among all private and government universities in India.

The university is India's largest single-campus university with over 30,000 students, offering 150+ programs in 40+ disciplines across engineering, business, law, architecture, management and other fields. Admission to LPU is based on merit in LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test).

LPU offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses. To apply for admission to LPU Jalandhar, candidates have to appear in qualifying examinations as well as entrance examinations like LPUNEST/CLAT/NATA/UCEED/NID DAT/NIFT/CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT and and others as per choice of course followed by an interview if required.

According to the NIRF 2023 rankings, the university holds the 38th position in the overall category, 32nd position in the management category, 50th position in the engineering category, and 17th position in the pharmacy category.
