The National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT
Kurukshetra) is a prestigious engineering institution located in Kurukshetra,
Haryana, India. Established in 1963 as a joint venture between the Government
of India and the Government of Haryana, it was initially known as Regional
Engineering College, Kurukshetra. In 2002, it was granted the status of a
Deemed University and renamed as National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra.
