Mahatma Gandhi Central University

Established by an Act of Parliament in 2016, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, commonly known as MGCUB, is located in Motihari (Bankat), Bihar. It is considered as the second central university of Bihar after the Central University of South Bihar located in Gaya. The university mainly offers undergraduate programs in BTech, BSc, BA and BCom, as well as postgraduate programs in MBA and MSW. Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCUB) comprises seven schools, various centres and 20 departments, offering a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.
