Mount Carmel College (MCC) is an autonomous college located
in Bengaluru, affiliated with Bengaluru City University. Established in 1948,
Mount Carmel College is a premier institute in Bangalore, Karnataka. Its
ultimate objective is to empower women with the help of education. The college
is owned and operated by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa (CSST). Established
on 24 April 1887 in Ernakulam, Kerala, CSST was founded by Mother Teresa of St.
Rose of Lima. Being a minority institution, it still benefits from the rights
and privileges secured by the Indian Constitution.
The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral
degrees in the fields of arts, science and commerce. The college is
re-accredited by NAAC with A+ grade (4th cycle). A College with Potential for
Excellence by UGC, Star College Status by DBT, Scientific and Industrial
Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific and Industrial
Research (DSIR), Government of India.

Institute of Management which offers Post Graduate Diploma in Business
Management for women. Mount Carmel College (MCC) has been recognized as the Top
Women's College in Karnataka by the Center for Education Growth and Research
for its exceptional dedication towards education, skill enhancement and
research.
