Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering was founded in 1979
by Late Shri R Dayananda Sagar and is run by Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeth Trust
(MGVP). It started with basic courses in civil, mechanical, electrical and
electronics engineering. The college offers undergraduate (UG), postgraduate
(PG) and doctoral programs under Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE Bangalore) is ranked 215th by NIRF 2024 for BTech. The college is approved by AICTE, Government of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. DSCE offers 20 UG and 6 PG courses to the students.
