Age Requirements
The student is required to have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year in which he is making his admission. There is no upper age limit to apply for MBBS abroad.
Academic requirements
Almost all countries have their own medical licensing examination. Even if one pursues MBBS in China, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia etc., he /she are required to qualify the FMGE/NEXT before practicing in India.
USMLE is a medical licensing examination for practicing in the US but a number of other countries accept it including India and the Gulf. Similarly, PLAB is for UK and MCCEE is for Canada. Australia requires one to qualify the AMC. Dubai has its Dubai Health Authority exam.
