Requirement for MBBS Abroad for Indian Students

The admission requirements for Indian students to apply for MBBS in abroad are formulated by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Any Indian student interested in studying MBBS abroad have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria of NMC:

I) Age Requirement: Candidate must be 17 years of age or above as on 31st December of the admission year.

II) Educational Requirement: Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and must have 50% marks in aggregate in PCB and English subjects. For reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) the aggregate score is 40% depends on counter (some countries need 50% for all category).

III) NEET Requirement: Candidate must have passed NEET UG exam and must have a valid NEET scorecard.
