Candidates must have passed the second-year Pre-University, 12th standard, HSC, or an equivalent test with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as electives in order to be admitted to the MBBS program. Candidates from reserved categories are required to have received a lower minimum of 40% in the optional subjects, or at least 50% in the aggregate marks. Candidates must also be at least 17 years of age by December 31 of the year in which the application is being considered, if not sooner.

Admission is done through all India through common entrance test which is administered by the University, candidates are admitted to this entrance test based on their merit.
