The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a group of autonomous government public medical universities of higher education under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. AIIMS have been declared as institutions of national importance by an Act of Parliament. AIIMS New Delhi, the pioneer institute, was established in 1956. Since then, 24 more AIIMS were announced. Admission Process MBBS Admission:

Entrance Exam: Admission to the MBBS course is through the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

Eligibility: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Application Process: Candidates must apply online through the NEET UG portal and participate in the counseling process.

Postgraduate (MD/MS/MDS) Admission:

Entrance Exam: Admission is through the INI-CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test).
