IILM was established in 1993 under the aegis of Ram Krishna & Sons Charitable Trust. With over 28+ years of experience in training future entrepreneurs and managers, it has emerged as one of the prestigious universities in the Delhi NCR region.

IILM University is a private university and is located in Gurugram and has two more campuses, one each in New Delhi and Greater Noida. The university is approved by the UGC and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQ), and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

As per Section 35(3) of the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006, a minimum of 25% of the seats for admission to the University shall be reserved for the students of the State of Haryana, out of which 10% of the seats shall be reserved for the Scheduled Caste students of the State of Haryana.
