IIM Fees for MBA: Know more about IIM fee structure and IIMs with low fee

IIMs in India are generally known for their 2-year flagship MBA programs. Every year around 3 to 3.50 lakh students give CAT entrance exam. On the basis of CAT score, students can get admission in IIMs. IIM fees range between Rs 16 lakh to Rs 27 lakh, which seems a bit expensive to most people, but is worth it based on the knowledge, experience and placements provided by IIMs.

The IIM MBA fees of top and old IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow etc. are generally more than Rs 20 lakh to 27 lakh. The fee for second generation IIMs like IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Kashipur, IIM Udaipur etc. ranges between Rs 17.50 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Lastly, for newer IIMs like IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Nagpur, IIM Shillong etc. the IIM MBA fee starts from Rs 16 Lakh and can go up to 19 Lakh.

There are many IIMs that offer scholarships to the students to support their financial expenses. Scholarships are usually merit or need-based.
