COMEDK 2025 UGET Exam: The Association of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has started the application process for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam. The exam is conducted every year for students seeking admission to engineering colleges across Karnataka. Interested candidates can now apply online for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam on the official website comedk.org.
COMEDK Registration: Last Date to Apply
The application process for COMEDK UGET 2025 will begin on
February 3, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply are urged to complete their
registration and submit their applications by March 15, 2025.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The student must have passed their Class 12 exams or
equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects.
For general ability candidates, a minimum of 45 per cent marks in Physics,
Chemistry, and Mathematics are required, while candidates from SC/ST/OBC
categories need at least 40 per cent marks. Physics and Mathematics are
compulsory subjects, and candidates can choose one of the following optional
subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Electronics.
Also, only candidates who appear for the entrance exam will be considered for the ranking list. It is important to understand that candidates holding diplomas are not ineligible to apply for the examination, as there are no provisions allowing for lateral entry into the courses.
COMEDK UGET 2025 Registration Fees:
The registration fee for the COMEDK UGET 2025 is Rs 1,950, (excluding
of taxes or convenience fees if applicable), for candidates who are applying
for the engineering examination. For those candidates applying to both
engineering (BE/BTech) and medical programs, the registration fee is Rs 3,200
(excluding of taxes or convenience fees if any).
COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Pattern:
COMEDK UGET 2025 is a three-hour exam and will have a total of 180 questions. Each question will carry one mark. The exam will be divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). It is important to note that the exam pattern is different for candidates applying for engineering and medical courses.
