CMAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India, conducted by NTA every year in the months of April-May for around 70,000+ candidates. CMAT 2024 is expected to be administered by NTA during the initial week of May 2024. The eligibility criteria for CMAT are at par with other MBA entrance exams. To register you need a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

NTA will announce the exam dates and release the CMAT 2024 application form in the second week of February 2024. CMAT 2024 is the second largest national level MBA/PGDM entrance exam in India after CAT and XAT. CMAT is an easier test than CAT and XAT, with a lower entrance cutoff and simpler questions. You have to solve 100 questions in 3 hours. The total marks in CMAT exam 2024 is 400.

CMAT 2024 exam consists of five different sections, namely Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, General Awareness, Language Comprehension, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Since there is no specific syllabus PDF released by NTA, to prepare for CMAT 2024, you should analyze previous year CMAT papers and mock tests to understand the type of questions asked and identify areas of improvement. Read newspapers, watch news channels and keep an eye on current events to stay updated with current affairs and improve your English vocabulary.

As per CMAT score vs percentile analysis, you can get a percentile equal to 81-89 with a score of 201-280 in the exam. However, for admission into top MBA institutes like JBIMS, GIM Goa, SIMSREE, GLIM Chennai etc., you need a CMAT score above 280 and a percentile above 95.
