JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA), which organizes JEE Main, has updated the online application form to make it easier for candidates to fill out their applications smoothly.

JEE Main 2025 Application and Name Mismatch Guidelines: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued new guidelines for applicants facing issues with name mismatches in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 application process. The updates come in response to candidate grievances over Aadhaar Card name mismatches with Class 10 certificates or mark sheets.

Key Points for JEE 2025 Application Deadline:

Registrations for the first session of JEE Main 2025 are ongoing until November 22, 2024.

Name Mismatch Issue: Many applicants reported trouble with the Aadhaar authentication process due to discrepancies between names on their Aadhaar Card and educational documents.

Step-by-Step Guide for Aadhaar Authentication Pop-up Notification:

+ You see a pop-up after clicking ‘Confirm Name as per Aadhaar,’ close it.

+ Proceed with Aadhaar Authentication: After closing the pop-up, a new screen will open to proceed with authentication. In this step enter your name exactly as it appears on your Aadhaar card.

+ Capture Both Names: During this process, both the name on your Class 10 certificate and the name on the Aadhaar Card will be captured. This change helps reduce authentication errors.

Important Dates for JEE Main 2025 First Session:

+ The initial phase of JEE Main 2025 will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025.

+ Second Phase: The second phase is scheduled for April 2025. These modifications aim to simplify the application process, especially for those facing Aadhaar-related name issues.

JEE Main Session 2: 

JEE Main Session 2 registration 2025 has closed. The last date and time for NTA JEE Main 2025 registration session 2 was till February 25 at 9 pm. NTA opened the JEE Main Session 2 correction window on February 27, 2025. Candidates were allowed to make changes in their application during the JEE Main Session 2 form correction facility. The last date for JEE Main session 2 correction window was February 28, 2025.

NTA released the JEE Main session 1 Result on February 11, 2025. Candidates can download the JEE Main 2025 Result scorecard from the official website. A total of 12.58 lakh candidates appeared in the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29.
