program as well as a 6-month internship that provides comprehensive nursing
skills training. Students will experience theoretical education and extensive
practical training through clinical rotations and internships. This GNM nursing course
will cover key subjects including nursing theory, ethics, patient care,
community health, and midwifery.
Admission to GNM is based on entrance exams conducted by various state governments. There is no centralized exam for GNM nursing. Many states also offer admission based on merit. To pursue a GNM nursing course, you must have passed class 12 with at least 50% marks and have Biology as one of the core subjects.
