Education Ministers of India from 1947 to 2024: The literacy rate in India has increased from 12% at the time of independence to 75% in recent years. In India, the education system has improved since the time of independence and this change is due to the great dedication and commitment of our leaders who worked hard to bring about a change in the level of education. Till now more than 30 politicians from different parties have become Education Ministers. All politicians have performed commendable work throughout their time serving as the Education Minister of India.

From 12% literacy rate at the time of independence to 75% literacy rate in the current era, our great leader has played a great role. From our first education minister Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad to the current education minister of India Dharmendra Pradhan, everyone has contributed significantly in making this country a major hub of education.
