NTA NEET 2025: Registration and Exam Dates Announced, Changes in Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility and Preparation tips

NTA NEET 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the registration details for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG) 2025. The examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025, for those seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BVSc, AYUSH, and BSc Nursing programs. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may submit their applications on the official website neet.nta.nic.in between February 7 to March 7, 2025. The NEET 2025 application form, along with the information bulletin and notification have been released on February 7, 2025.

The NEET 2025 application correction window will be open from March 9 to March 11, 2025. The NEET 2025 admit card will be released on or before May 1, 2025, a few days before the exam date. Prior to that, the NEET 2025 city intimation slip will be released by April 26, 2025. The NEET 2025 result will be declared by June 14, 2025. 

NEET UG 2025 Registration:

 In the official announcement issued on January 16, 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said, "In accordance with the decision made by the National Medical Commission, it is hereby announced that the NEET UG 2025 examination will take place in a pen-and-paper format (OMR based) on a single day and in one shift."

NTA has clarified in the NEET UG 2025 Notification dated January 24, 2025 that APAAR ID is not mandatory to register for NEET 2025. Even though the use of APAAR ID has been implemented by NTA for NEET UG 2025 from this year, and candidates have been encouraged to integrate it with their Aadhaar details, it has not been made mandatory, as suggested in the notification dated January 14, 2025.
