The West Bengal government has started the online
registration process for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM)
application form for the academic year 2024-25 starting from November 20, 2024.
Students can register for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means (SVMCM)
2024 scholarship by visiting the official website. The government introduced
the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship to aid meritorious students
from economically weaker sections of the society. The SVMCM Scholarship for the
academic year 2024-25 provides financial assistance for various levels of
higher education. The deadline for applications under the SVMCM scholarship scheme
will be January 2025.

Students in classes 11 and 12, as well as those pursuing
undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) studies, are eligible to apply for the
Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25, provided they are
enrolled in regular mode of study only.
To apply for the scholarship, students must submit the
required documents and their family income should be Rs 2,50,000 per annum or

How to Apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2024-25:
Students are invited to apply their applications online for
the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM 2024-25) through the official
website-svmcm.wbhed.gov.in. The comprehensive SVMCM Application Process for
2024-25, along with the schedule for online applications, is provided below.
SVMCM Application Process:
Students have to go through the SVMCM Scholarship 2024-25
Application Process listed below to avail this scheme of scholarship.
Step 1- Applicants must complete the SVMCM 2024-25
Registration Form, which can be found on the official SVMCM Scholarship website
at svmcm.wbhed.gov.in.
Step 2 - An Applicant ID will be generated after the
submission of the (SVMCM 2024-25) Scholarship registration form for the
academic year 2024-25. Use generated application id to login to Swami
Vivekananda Scholarship and fill the complete SVMCM Application Form 2024-25.
Also upload scanned copies of photo and signature.
Step 3 - After submitting the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship
(SVMCM) application form for the academic year 2024-25, a new page will appear
on the screen for the upload of scanned supporting documents. Students are
required to upload these documents.
Step 4 - After successfully uploading the required
documents, view the complete application and then click on 'Submit Application'
to complete the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM 2024-25) application process.
Note: Applicants are unable to modify their Swami Vivekananda Scholarship application form once it has been submitted. Applicants may reach out to the relevant Head of Institution or District Inspector to unlock their application form should any changes be required after the submission of the SVMCM 2024-25. After this, modifications can be made in the SVMCM Scholarship 2024-25 Application Form and the form can be submitted back.
SVMCM Scholarship Application 2024-25- Required Documents

the last date of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.
Documents required for upload by new applicants and
Kanyashree applicants.
+ Mark sheet of secondary examination or its equivalent (both
sides)
+ Mark sheet of last Board/Council/University/College
examination (both sides)
+ Admission receipt
+ Income certificate offline (Proforma provided on the official
SVMCM performa) and online (Issued via the e-district portal) (Income
certificate not applicable for Kanyashree applicants).
+ Residence certificate in the form of Aadhaar ID/Voter
ID/Ration Card/Certificate issued by the concerned authority.
+ Scanned copy of bank passbook which should display your
account number and IFSE Code (first page).
