IIM CAP 2025: New Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Common Admission Process

IIM CAP 2025: IIM Kashipur, one of the five new IIMs started in 2010, will conduct the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025 for the 10 participating IIMs. The PI rounds in CAP are likely to be held in online mode from the second week of February to the first week of March 2025. 1. What is IIM CAP?

The Common Admission Process (CAP) serves as the final selection round for MBA admissions in the new and emerging or baby Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for the year 2025. This process is standardized across all participating IIMs. It is important to note that the number of IIMs participating in CAP may vary. At present, there are ten Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) participate in the Common Admission Process.

IIM CAP 2025 is anticipated to take place from the second week of February to the first week of March 2025. The projected dates for CAP 2025 are as follows:

The CAP round is conducted for those Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) that began operations in the academic year 2010-11, as well as for the new generation IIMs that began their operations in 2015-16. This round serves as the final selection stage, which consists of a common personal interview and written aptitude test (PI-WAT) process for the ten IIMs participating in CAP 2025.

For the last 3 years the IIM CAP round is being conducted online. In the online conduct of CAP, the personal interview is conducted online and the writing ability test is not conducted. Accordingly, the weightage for WAT is removed from the maximum marks and given to the personal interview.

5. How to fill IIM CAP 2025 registration form: To fill the IIM CAP 2025 form, follow the steps given below:

Step-1: Register with your CAT 2024 ID, mail ID and date of birth

After clicking on Register Now on the IIM CAP website, which is displayed on the home page of all CAP IIMs, you will see the Generate Your Password screen. You will receive OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID.

Step-2: Enter the received OTP on your mobile and try to set a password

After generating your password, you will be redirected to the login screen

Step-3: Login with your CAT ID and the generated password.

6. How to fill IIM CAP 2025 Application Form? Complete in 6 Steps

After completing your registration process for IIM CAP round, the next step is to fill CAP 2025 Application form, which requires your Personal details, communication details, Educational qualification, Work experience and other information as given below in details:

I) Fill Personal Information: On this page, it is necessary to provide the personal information that you submitted in the CAT application form, including your name, gender, category, type of Bachelor's degree (such as B.A. or B.Sc., Engineering), nationality, CAT 2024 Registration ID, and date of birth. Additionally, you are required to upload your CAT scorecard along with this personal information.

II) Fill in Your Communication Address: To proceed on this page, it is necessary to fill your registered email address, mobile number, and the name of your father and mother as indicated in the CAT registration form. Additionally, you are required to provide your full communication postal address, including the postal code.

III) Fill Your Educational Qualification: You are required to provide information regarding your educational qualifications starting from class 10. The necessary details include the year of passing, the board or university attended, the marks obtained or CGPA, and the percentage of marks. To validate your academic achievements, please upload the appropriate mark sheets, certificates, or degrees.

IV) Work Experience: On this section of the IIM CAP 2025 Application form, it is required that you provide information regarding your work experience in reverse chronological order. This means that you should list your most recent work experience first, followed by previous positions. When detailing your work experience, ensure that you include information such as the employment section, the name of the employer, your monthly salary, your job title, the duration of your work experience, and the total number of days worked. Additionally, please submit your work experience certificate on this page.

V) Fill in Co-Curricular Activities: It is advisable to include any co-curricular achievement in this section. You are required to provide the name of the achievement, specify the category as District, State, National, or International level, and upload the relevant certificate.

VI) Complete the Declaration and Submit Online: The final section of the CAP application form necessitates that you complete the declaration and provide your signature on the form. The form is complete now and you should submit it online on CAP website.
