Joint Admission Committee Delhi (JAC Delhi) started in the
year 2014 is conducted for counselling and admission to undergraduate (UG)
programmes in leading Delhi government-funded universities offering engineering
(BE/BTech), architecture (BArch) and management programmes.
It is conducted for admission to 5 technical universities or
institutes that are part of the NCT Delhi government. These include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for
Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi
(IIIT-D), Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) and Netaji Subhas
University of Technology (NSUT). The entire counselling process is done online.
JAC is an initiative of the Delhi government. The Delhi Government has established JAC Delhi to avoid multiple admission counseling and
to save the candidates and their parents from the inconvenience caused due to
students moving from one institute to another during the admission process. JAC
Delhi is an initiative that was created by the Government of NCT of Delhi to
avoid the inconvenience of multiple admission procedures and visiting different
institutes during the admission process for the students and their families.
JAC Delhi 2025 Counselling: The Joint Admission Committee
(JAC) will begin the JAC Delhi counselling process 2025 in May 2025. JAC Delhi
2025 counselling will be conducted in five rounds and one spot round. The
complete schedule of JAC Delhi 2025 counselling will be made available on the
official website jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. The counselling process of each
round includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, payment of seat
acceptance fee and physical reporting at the respective institute.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) conducts JAC Delhi counselling
for admission to BTech and BArch courses offered by 5 institutes: Delhi
Technological University (DTU) formerly Delhi College of Engineering, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) formerly Netaji
Subhas Institute of Technology. Admissions through JAC Delhi will be done on the basis

JAC Delhi Eligibility
Criteria 2025: Joint Admission Committee Delhi (JAC Delhi) 2025 eligibility
criteria are given below:
A) JEE Main 2025 Score: Candidates name must be in the CRL of
JEE Main 2025.
B) Region wise Eligibility:
I) Delhi Region Candidates 85% seats: Candidates who have
passed the qualifying examination from a recognized school/college/institution
situated within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be
considered for Delhi Region only.
II) Outside Delhi Region Candidates 15% seats: Candidates who
have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized
school/college/institution situated outside the National Capital Territory of
Delhi will be considered for outside Delhi Region only.
Note: If the centre of examination is situated in NCT of
Delhi, then the candidate will be considered under Delhi Region
C) Eligibility as per
Qualifying Examination:
I) Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination
from one of the following Boards:
II) Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
III) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
IV) Any other examination recognised as equivalent to the Senior
School Certificate Examination of CBSE.
Note: Candidates who have appeared in the annual examination
in the year 2025 and have been placed in compartment will not be eligible for
admission for the year 2025.
JAC Delhi Minimum Marks Required for JAC Delhi Admission 2025: The following minimum marks requirements have been prescribed in the qualifying exam.

BE/BTech Course at DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, DSEU and Dual Degree (BTech+MBA Program) at IGDTUW | A candidate who has obtained 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and has passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination level (core or elective) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of BE/BTech program, provided he or she has passed in each subject separately. |
BTech Courses at IIIT Delhi | A candidate who has secured 70% or more marks in the
aggregate of best five subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
and 70% or more marks in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be
considered eligible. |
BArch Course at IGDTUW and NSUT | A candidate will be considered eligible for admission to the
first year of B.Arch course if he/she has obtained 50% or more marks in
aggregate, has passed the Senior School Certificate level examination with
Mathematics as a subject and has also qualified the JEE (Main) Paper-2
examination. |
Relaxation of Minimum
Marks Requirements for Candidates in Reserved Categories and Sub-Categories.
Candidates belonging to various reserved categories like OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST, and sub-categories like Defence, Persons with Disabilities, who apply against the seats reserved for them will be given relaxation in the minimum marks criteria mentioned below:
