Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national level entrance examination conducted by NTA for admission to UG and PG courses offered by participating institutions. Launched in 2022, the CUET exam aligns as an important UG and PG entrance exam, providing a common platform for candidates to gain admission into UG and PG programs in top colleges/universities across India.

CUET is conducted once a year in more than 500 cities in India and abroad. The assessment is carried out using a computer-based format. CUET exam is conducted in multiple stages depending on the number of candidates registered for the entrance exam.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the CUET UG 2024 exam within 17 days from May 15 to May 31, 2024. CUET 2024 application form is eagerly awaited and is expected to be released in the first week of February 2024. Candidates can fill CUET 2024 registration from the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. CUET application fee 2024 for general students is Rs 750 (up to three test papers).

CUET serves as a gateway to UG and PG programs in over 250 universities in India, establishing itself as one of the largest UG entrance programs. Top universities where CUET scores are accepted for admission include Delhi University (DU), University of Hyderabad, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Millia Islamia etc.

Students appearing for CUET UG 2024 must have passed 12th class examination from a recognized board. According to NTA, there is no age limit to appear for the exam. However, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the institute in which they wish to take admission. CUET is a computer-based examination conducted in 13 languages.

It has 4 sections- Section 1A contains 13 languages and candidates can select the language subject while filling the form. Section 1B is for students who wish to appear for a language subject other than the language mentioned in Section 1A. The other two sections are general tests and domain-specific topics.

CUET 2024 cut off will be released in the form of rank list by each participating university or college. Given the expected high cut-offs, admission into CUET-accepting colleges will be highly competitive.
