CUET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday released the results of the Common University cum Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate (UG) courses. Soon the universities and colleges will release the dates of counseling session and seat allotment result. Here's what you need to know about counseling before they start the admission process.

vary and depend on the college or universities the candidate applies for. There
are some general points that should be followed in this admission process. This
article outlines and aims to simplify the entire admission process for you!
CUET UG: Documents
Required
Candidates should remember that they should have photocopies
of all the documents. At least 2 photocopies are required along with original
certificates and mark sheets. The documents have to be submitted to the
appropriate college for verification.
+ Class 10th, and class 12th original mark sheets
+ Transfer certificate
+ Migration certificate
+ CUET UG application form
+ CUET UG admit card
+ Passport size picture
+ Online payment receipt
+ Aadhar cards/PAN cards or other identification Id
Proof
On the other hand, foreign nationals need to bring the above
documents and include some additional documents mentioned below:
+ PIO/OCI certificates whichever is available.
+ Copy of passport and visa details
+ Resident permit
+ Medical fitness certificate issued by a recognized medical
practitioner recognized by the Medical Council of India is required.
CUET UG: Application
Fees
CUET UG application fee depends on the colleges and universities. It is the discretion of the respective institutions to decide on the application fee.
JNU Admission Process:
CUET UG applicants are required to include JNU in their
application to be considered for admission. They can apply directly through JNU
CUET counselling. Prospective students must complete the JNU UG Course Form,
which is equivalent to DU's CSAS portal.
The university will prepare a merit list on its official
website. Once out, the seat allotment counseling process will start and the
institute will provide provisional admission letter to those students whose
process will be completed and only the fee amount will be left.
Delhi University Admission Process:
If any student is interested to get admission in Delhi University (DU), then
they have to register themselves on DU CSAS portal. On the portal, students
will have to select the course of their choice and some colleges. Then as per
their choice and score in CUET UG, the university will provide them the
college. If a student is satisfied with the information given by the institute
then they can come to the college and submit the documents for verification.
They can confirm their admission by paying the college fees.
DU usually conducts its admission process in three stages.
The university has not announced any date to correct the DU CSAS portal for the
admission process. After the correction window closes, DU will inform about the
dates of seat allotment, document verification, fee payment and admission
refund. The university also conducts spot admission for vacant seats.
Jamia Millia Islamia Admission Process:
Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) will soon prepare and
release the admission merit list which will be based on CUET UG score. The
University will consider the scores and reservation criteria while preparing
the merit list. As per the merit list, students have to visit the university
and submit the documents asked for verification and admission. Once the process
is complete, students will have to complete the process by paying the fees.
