The CLAT counselling schedule for 2024 has been released by
the Consortium of NLUs. According to the revised dates, the registration for
CLAT counseling in 2024 will take place from December 12 to December 20, 2023.
The counseling process for CLAT 2024 is conducted completely online. The process includes registration, publication of a merit list and allotment of seats on the basis of preferences stated by the candidates. In each round of counselling, candidates have the option to accept or upgrade their allotted seat, or opt out.
In the law entrance examination, the attendance of
registered candidates for CLAT UG 2024 was 97.03 per cent, whereas for CLAT PG
2024 it was 93.92 per cent. CNLU reported that this year's attendance was the
highest ever recorded.

Since 2018, the National Law School of India University,
Bengaluru has consistently been recognized as one of the top-ranked law
colleges in India according to the NIRF rankings. Similarly, the National Law
University (NLU), Delhi has maintained its position as the second-best ranked
institution during the same period.
