1. MBA Admission 2025: Step by Step Admission Process

Step-1: Give MBA Entrance Exam like CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT. All the top MBA colleges accept score of one or other MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT.

 Step-2: Shortlist the best MBA colleges and apply to the “right” B-schools. After giving these exams, you will have to apply to colleges separately. Colleges are shortlisted on the basis of rank, fees, placement etc.

Step-3: Appear in the Group discussion and Personal interview process. After applying to your preferred colleges, MBA colleges will call you for the personal interview (PI) and group discussion (GD) or Written Ability Test (WAT) process.

Step-4: Secure your Admission and Pay Fees: Based on your Academics, performance in the MBA Entrance Exam, GD, PI or WAT, Work Experience (if any), a merit list will be prepared by the B-School for final admission. MBA Admission 2025 Selection Criteria in IIMA, IIMB, IIMK, IIMC, IIML, IIM Mumbai   

IIM Ahmedabad has already released the MBA Admission Policy 2025, which includes the shortlisting criteria, CAT cut off and final selection criteria as given below:

In the first stage of the IIM Ahmedabad admission process, candidates having valid CAT scores, who have submitted their applications for the programme and fulfil the eligibility requirements, are selected for the Analytical Writing Test and Personal Interview.

After the AWT and PI rounds, successful candidates are given admission offers by IIM Ahmedabad. The final selection is based on various attributes including performance in CAT, performance in AWT and PI, academic, co-curricular and extracurricular achievements, work experience, etc.

The IIM Ahmedabad admission offer letter will be sent to all successful candidates. Candidates who are offered admission will have to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date.
